I'll throw another recommendation in there if you are looking to compare rates - The Maison Dupuy on Toulouse. Just a couple of blocks from Bourbon. Lovely rooms - some with balconies. We never got in the car and were able to walk everywhere in the Quarter. Good food too.
New Orleans is so wonderful. Nothing like fresh, greasy beignets to cure the hangover. Mmmmm.
