Ironically, the Lil Wayne track (which is actually rap, unlike the one you're referring to) uses the lollipop metaphor to make a point about selling out to get a number one hit, although it also uses it to make, well, sex references. This isn't exactly Chaucer, but it's not that hard if you really try either.

Yeah I know thanks a bunch. I used that line to express my displeasure at the recent posts on the news and politics forum. Well.. actually it was on the radio while I was typing but you get the drift. I know the difference between fake rap, three six mafia, and real rap, lady gaga.
