Hi APhiBee. Welcome to Greek Chat. I know Jen has already responded to some of your questions but I also wanted to tell you that you can use your advisory board as a means to get ahold of the chapter on the campus that you are transferring to. I get calls from advisors all the time telling me someone is coming to look at this school or that school and wants to check out the Alpha Phi chapter and know more about housing options, affiliating, etc. Most people know pretty quickly whether or not they'll fit in with a chapter. If you are transferring to a housed chapter you may even be able to arrange moving into the chapter house. Your recommendation usually comes from either your chapter advisor or chapter president who will inform the chapter that you are a member in good standing, have paid your chapter bond, etc. Jen is correct that the CCOM refers to the exact procedures.
