I always tell PNMs to stick it out because you really never know if either of these 2 chapters ends up being the place with the best friends whom you will look back on and wonder how you ever lived without.
I'd at least go to the last parties and see how you feel.
But of course I know that this is your decision, so best of luck with whatever you decide to do.
