Generally speaking, it seems like sororities monitor sites more then fraternities. But some fraternities will begin to monitor internet action (Facebook, GC, websites etc.) once potential risk management issues are discussed. To cut to the chase, an IFC member could most likely come on GC and say "I hate this and that, got wasted last night and banged some random girl, blah blah blah." If it was offensive enough, it might get him banned from GC. Yet his HQ might not say boo. But if they came on here and said "In my chapter, we haze", then little red flags go up at HQ. A few clicks and they know which chapter. Then those unpleasant investigations start.
