Another thing to watch out for is to make sure that preference night doesn't become another skit night. Fight the urge to have too many speeches/songs, ceremonies. A good rule would be that for any new thing you put in, remove one old thing that has gotten lukewarm reception. Also, don't try anything too complicated without it being well thought out, for instance, one pref we got record number of returns and we did not have room and one our portions of pref just did not work with more than 15 girls in the room and we were at 23-25. So make sure it's adaptable if something changes as well
