Ah, a member of my alma mater caught in the crackdown. One thing I can say about BU is that, from what I've heard, they've been very aggressive in trying to help the defenses of students sued by the RIAA.
Professor Nesson is a pretty big gun (although Cloherty is no slouch either, a very good white collar attorney from Boston), and I think he's doing the case pro bono, as this has become a big issue for him.
