My very favorite Seuss book, which I think is terribly underappreciated, is
Scrambled Eggs Super. The kids (and parents) at my library are always really impressed when I start spouting entire pages of Seuss.
Of his picture books, I also like "Oh the Places You'll Go" and "Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are?"
The easy-readers: It's got to be "Green Eggs and Ham," or "Hop on Pop."
