My chapter was pretty much 50/50 liberal/conservative. It basically followed the atmosphere of the campus. Junior and senior years, I lived with two very conservative sorority sisters and a politically apathetic sister of a different sorority. We also had two other super close friends who were members of my sorority who were also very conservative, so out of the six of us, I was the only liberal one! We just made sure to not bring it up in our apartment. We were fantastic friends as long as the only time we talked politics, it was mature, and civil. If it started to get sticky, we would change the subject. In the end, we all learned a lot from each other, and we're still great friends.
