UC Merced was established in 2005 and is starting Greek Life from the ground up this school year (2008-2009). In addition to Delta Delta Delta and Kappa Kappa Gamma, Sigma Chi Fraternity has a colony. I believe Sigma Alpha Epsilon also has a colony at Merced. And I have heard - but it might just be a rumor - that Alpha Chi Omega was invited as well.
