I can think of people on GC who would do something similar, though they are not in relationships. I'm sure certain people will read my mind on this subject.
We were doing a traditional Norwegian theme (since we both are), with some Alpha Gam touches as well, Alpha Gam touches are just classy like that and belong in a wedding
. My great grandmother had a bouquet with fern in it, so it was easy to carry over. I don't know if expressing your ethnic heritage is a "theme" though. We were going to have members of the bridal party wear something from their heritage, and any guests who wanted to as well.
