Now, now, I never said "weenie".

You get used to the climate you live in. I grew up in the Northeast (and I still live there), so, to me, 50 degrees is sweater weather - but someone used to a warmer climate might be wanting a jacket.

As long as you don't do something stupid, like go out in below-freezing weather in a t-shirt and shorts and with your hair still wet... to each their own - dress so you're comfortable.

OK, I think I've hijacked poor I<3Starbucks' rush thread quite enough. So I'll add a couple of practical cold-weather ideas for her and other IU PNMs (and anyone venturing out in the cold):

- Moisturizer and Chapstick are your best friends. Get some moisturizing lipstick to wear during recruitment.
- If there's snow on the ground and it's sunny out, wear sunglasses. Snow has a nasty habit of reflecting sunlight.
- You can lose a lot of heat through your head, so keep it covered. I have a pashmina shawl that I use to cover my head when I want to avoid "hat hair".

Good luck with the rest of recruitment.
