Totally agreed. The pushier someone gets with me, especially right at the beginning, the less likely I am going to want to meet him. If I get a bad vibe from him - forget it.
I'm on Plentyoffish too and I have met several people from there - including my current boyfriend, who is awesome.
I have been pretty good at weeding out the crazies before we get anywhere close to meeting. I do like to exchange messages/IM a few times at least before we meet. If someone pushes to meet right away - HUGE red flag.
