I am also a member, actually the national headquarters is at my university. I got inducted, have a certificate and that is about it. I use it on resumes, though, cause honor soceities look great on there, but other than that, I have never done anything else with them. I am also in Gamma Beta Rho (something like that) Golden Key, and Kappa Alpha Tau Journalism honor society, but I really don't do much with them either, they just get to go on my resume for a small induction fee. It is worth it believe it or not, and an honor because you worked hard for your grades and someone recognized that. Good luck!
