I'm in it. I was inducted during the spring of my freshman year (as it's a Freshman Honor Society) in a nice little ceremony. Basically, that's it--I've never been contacted by the organization since then, except for maybe those "exclusive" credit card offers. I think it's just something to put on your resume, to be honest.
While we're on the subject of honor societies, are there any members of Phi Upsilon Omicron out there? I'm from the Iota chapter.
