I think the first thing you should do is get a core group of interested persons and spend time getting to know one another in an intimate setting so that you all can come to a unified vision of what exactly you want your organization to be like. Certain criteria (both spoken and unspoken) will naturally be established.
Then move forward from there...
Is it going to be kind of like the Guardsmen and the Drifters set?
Or will it be more low key in terms of social standing and financial focus?
