Well, for us, it's a one ton tug, meaning you can have as many guys as you want, as long as the toal weight is 2000 lbs or less. After the tug captains figure out who's going to be in it (looking for arm and leg strength and lightness) we start practicing. The opposing team we practice with is the biggest strongest guys of the chapter, and weight doesn't matter. the more the merrier. then, we have practice tugs. the main thing to tug is the rhythm. I've heard rumors from other fraternities that they think we tie the rope onto a truck or a tree to practice. our tug team ALWAYS dominates, even years when we didn't win greek games, we did win tug. we have our own rope too, so we can practice whenever we want.
