Pretty good movie overall and I think Mos Def as Chuck Berry stole the show.

Beyonce held her own and I think this may be her best work for the few roles that she has had.

Gabrielle Union I think really shined in this....one of the few roles that she is not playing some stuck up chick but a woman that stuck by her man despite his short comings

My only nitpick is that the lip synch work wasn't all that great but overall told a good story....I think a few people upon seeing this may try to compare this to Ray, especially since this was set along the same time period...Ray was great...this almost reached that level but doesn't just quite hit it....you will see what I mean when you see it.
I saw it last night. It was pretty good. There were scenes that wasn't suppose to be funny, but the audience starting laughing.

MAJOR COSIGN on Beyonce and Gabby. Jeffery Wright was good too.

Mos as Chuck Berry reminded me of his role in Lackawanna Blues.

Columbus Short and the way he played Little Walter reminded me of Nick Cannon. Mr. Mimi would have nailed that role.

Cedric's narration reminded me of Uncle Ruckus.
