And I am from Colorado, which is not in the south, but hazing does occur, but not nearly to the severity of hazing in the south.
I have good friends in all fraternities on campus, and I know what hazing goes on. But nothing as bad as the things my friend told me. And what I puzzled about, was that he informed me that most other fraternities on the campus all haze, if not as bad, comparably as bad. And how this level of hazing is still going on today.

And I'll ask again...
So you're basing your conclusion, that hazing is worse in the south, only on what your ONE friend has told you about his experience at ONE southern school?
