I've never used the site..... I dunno man, I'm always leery of any fundraiser which involves a third party making money, with only a few exceptions....
One of those is those final exam care package companies. My APO chapter used that as a fundraiser for over the past ten years, until very recently when the university stopped giving them access to advertise to the parents directly.
As I get older, my primary advice is usually to ask your alums. Not all willy nilly, but in an organized and respectful manner.
