I'm pretty positive Bob is bluffing. Four reasons:
1) If it were going to matter later, wouldn't we have seen Marcus tell Bob?
2) If Bob knew where it was, would he have said, while on Exile Island, that he needed the idol because he was in "deep doo doo" in the tribe?
3) If he really knew where it was, wouldn't it have made sense for him to let Corinne and Randy in on it last week, so that it was Sugar and company blindsided?
4) I still have the episode where Charlie was voted out on DVD. At the "previously, on Survivor" part at the beginning, they show the bottle floating in the water, and there is clearly something tied around it.
But Thursday night was classic. It was simply amazing how sure Corinne and Randy were that Bob would find the idol -- I guess because, as Corinne says, Sugar is so stupid she'd never find it.
And I loved Randy declaring it an "accolade" to get voted out by those "losers."
