The best thing about pledging Delta Zeta, for me, is that I matured so much. I went from being a shy, introverted bookworm to a confident, independent woman. I still can't speak in public without getting a huge case of the nerves, but now I have no problem conversing with people on a one-on-one basis. This has been so helpful in the "real world". People who met me after college would not recognize me if they took a trip back in time and saw the person I used to be!
And I owe that all to Delta Zeta! I learned so much from my sisters, and holding offices in the chapter taught me responsibility, honed my time-management skills, and strengthened my leadership qualities. I am so grateful that I joined a sorority that encourages women to push themselves in order to become stronger, more able people.
