Annapolis may be below the Mason Dixon, but trust me - any place that would have a college like St. Johns is not southern.

Also, take a look at the voting patterns of the country, generally, if it's blue, it's not southern (not counting Florida which is full of retired yankees and foriegners).


JK!! But, having spent a LOT of time in Annapolis, including during this election cycle - the culture and climate are definitely not "southern".
