Question for anyone who might venture a guess. I'm assuming the polls are going to be jam packed on election day as this is a presidential election and a pretty darn active one at that. I asked my boss if she might close our office at midday to encourage voting (other non-profits in the area are doing this) to which she replied that people can vote on their lunch breaks. Granted we have an hour for lunch, but is it really feasible to get to a polling place (say 10 minutes away), stand in line, vote and be back to work in an hour?

It seems unlikely to me but I might just be overly enthusiastic about the number of people who will be voting. BTW, I live in a suburb of NYC (Rockland County).
