Our new member dues are about 600, not including housing or anything "extra" but that does include the parlor fee and that kind of stuff. Formal is always free. We get most of our t-shirts for free. Active Member dues are around 450. My parents and I have worked something out where they pay my dues but the bill does not go to them. I know our university accounts for our tuition and stuff they can access if you, the student, set it up so they can.
