Thanks so much for the info! I already knew some of the stuff, like about which groups were fraternities and which were sororities (I just tend to slip when I'm in casual context and not thinking
) but some of the other stuff, like what to refer to collegiate members and about fraternities, was new to me. This is all definitely usefull information that we'll be sure to incorporate into our meetings with the groups. We had a Greek Council meeting today, and we planned the first ever Greek Week at UCSC. It sounds like so much fun! Also, I spoke with someone from Alpha Psi and they said that Alpha Phi has contacted my campus (I'm so confused!). But the important thing is that we basically made an agreement not to infringe on the organizations that the other sorority has their heart set on. So basically, they're not interested in Alpha Xi Delta or Tri Sigma, and we're not going to make advances on Alpha Phi or Kappa Kappa Gamma. I feel a little better about that. I'll keep you all posted!
