Umm, so I just read this in one sitting. At work. Comments and all! I think it just goes to show that some of the most stressful and rollercoaster times in our lives make for the craziest memories and stories in retrospect.
And a random tangent... My room mate this year is a Kappa Delta from my alma mater (we graduated in May), but we didn't know each other before. And I am an Alpha Phi (clearly.) Her little (biological) sister just went through informal at Maryland this semester! Her fave chapters were Alpha Phi and KD. Sadly, she didn't get a bid to either--but she didn't let it get to her (and I think she might go through again for formal). I just thought that was a cute coincidence
I will pass this story onto my room mate's sister to encourage her to persevere!
