I particularly enjoyed the part about Jerry Decker's wife giving him $25 spending money each Friday for the week as part of their 'saving for retirement' plan in their younger days -- and she still does it! I'll be reviewing that idea with the husband this evening... (the day my husband can walk into Home Depot and leave spending less than $13...  )

Yeah, I expect this trend to continue as the baby boomers age.
While some of them went kind of Reagan yuppie, I think a big enough block still holds a 1960's political radical self image. (not that they are really radical, but they aren't going to lean Republican necessarily just because they got old.)
