I don't know much about Feng Shui, but even before I had heard of it I had read of studies regarding colors affecting moods. (Mauve is supposed to make you passive, yellow is used most often in psychiatric hospitals, too much blue will make you depressed, etc.)
I don't know if I'm oversensitive to it or what, but for as long as I can remember I've always been aware of colors in rooms (and whether or not they were having a positive influence on me), and to a lesser extent, the location of furniture, etc. Although I like open space in general, there are certain ways rooms should be laid out that just "make sense" to me, even if I can't justify it to anyone else.
When I moved into my current apartment, I had stuff sort of arranged and was very unhappy with my living room. After 3-4 re-arranges (and driving my boyfriend crazy

) I finally found something I'm happy with. Whether it would fall in line with Feng Shui, I can't say. Maybe I should look it up
