I think it's fair to assume that most initiation vows involve keeping the private business of the chapter a secret. I do believe that membership selection falls under that category.
Second, this forum is not very anonymous. This is not juicycampus (not that it's very anonymous). Countless posters, when asking for advice or telling a recruitment story give out WAAAY too much information when making inappropriate comments thinking that they are anonymous.
