I don't use Yahoo, but I know with my Hotmail if I get even remotely close to the limit they start threatening that they'll automatically delete my mail. Then they offer their paid Hotmail account with has almost unlimited storage.
I don't buy into it because I'll come to check my mail when they say they'll delete things and everything is all there.
