a few additional suggestions:

1) take advantage of any early voting opportunities that may be available in your state. This is a good hedge against insufficient or "malfunctioning" polling equipment on Nov. 4;

2) have on your person the telephone numbers of your State and local Boards of Election, as well as any local watchdog affiliations available to ensure voting fairness;

3) have sufficient identification with you
-any ID from the local Board of elections (particularly if you have had to re-register since you last voted)
- photo identification, as well as current proof of your current address (i.e. bills)
