I think she needs to go to jail AND deal with her psychiatric problems (and then she needs to meet a shank
). It's doubtful she would meet the requirements for legal insanity, but that doesn't mean that her mental problems aren't severe and don't require treatment. Obviously, they are, or she wouldn't have done what she did.
