hazing is definitely a crime and i am not defending or condoning it, in any way, shape, form or fashion. i also didn't state in my original post that 'pledging so-called "hard" makes one a better member'. as such, i didn't even address the subject. instead, i was merely stating that even if initiation is banned on the undergrad level, hazing can and still continues on the grad level.
