It really burns me up that Kappa Alpha Psi did not get enough attention and praise for this kind gesture. The camera showed the license plate with the letters Kappa Alpha Psi for just split second. I want to commend yall for doing this!! When I saw this I got a little teary-eyed. Way to go you guys!! Keep up the good work!

I understand the sentiment - that many good deeds seem to go unnoticed in the public eye, while the bad things that happen are well-publicized.
However, I disagree that people need praise for giving. It irks me when people make a big deal about donating/giving/volunteering, etc., as if they are doing it simply for the recognition. I imagine that the young men who so generously gave to this family were repaid with simply knowing that they did something to help people who really needed it.
Sure, some recognition is nice, but it shouldn't be expected.
