Why would people want to start a new chapter and follow other people's traditions and beliefs, when they could just start their own brand new fraternity and have their names as the fraternity founding fathers? I'm confused.
I was one of the founders of my chapter and enjoyed the ability to build what we wanted locally but haveing the tradition of one of the oldest fraternities (Alpha Delta Phi)

Either way you go, I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have.
