It might not be another 40 years in terms of a wait but it darn sure won't be next year. It was a hush award and not to say that Halle nor Denzel did not deserve it because they did, but there have been some pivotal movies and actors who were overlooked hence my first question. (I need to see both movies)
now to answer my question
MORGAN FREEMAN -- SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION
(Did Tim Robbins get one either? I love this movie)
MICHAEL CLARKE DUNCAN for THE GREEN MILE!! I cry every time I see this movie. Didn't Tom Hanks win for the movie -- well give the brotha his props because he had me crying.
DENZEL WASHINGTON in REMEMBER THE TITANS. I still have not seen the HURRICANE but I will trust yall
THIS TIME.
ANGELA BASSETT & LAURENCE FISHBURNE in What's Love Got To Do With It?
OPRAH WINFREY and DANNY GLOVER for
THE COLOR PURPLE
HALLE BERRY in LOSING ISAIAH, Dorothy Dandridge, and (I AM DRAWING A BLANK ON MY 3RD ONE -- BRB to edit)
**this is all I can think of for now but it's enough.
