I definitely agree with KSUViolet, it really depends on your school. For example, at my school we have COB in the fall and formal in the spring, and during COB there are a decent amount of juniors that get in - in fact this year and last year a couple of the sororities have taken seniors (and keep in mind I go to a small school with only four sororities). A few of my friends who are in sororities went through formal, got dropped, and ended up getting a bid either during COB or ended up getting snap bids right after formal recruitment was over (although that's an incredibly rare case). So look around at your school, do you know of anyone who has been of junior standing and gotten into a sorority? If so then why not? I say don't give up if joining a sorority is something that you want to do. ^_^.
