If you've had recruitment--introduce the new member class?
Introduce your exec board for the current year/semester?
Give an overview of activities the chapter will be participating in for the semester/year?
Let parents know about opportunities that will let them be involved with the chapter--parents club, dad/daughter day, mom/daughter day, projects the house may need help with (renovations, fundraising, etc)?
Show the serious side of your sisterhood by dimming the lights, lighting a candle and singing a candlelighting song.
Recognize sisters for their academic accomplishments (both from the university and sorority).
These are just some things that my local would do for parent/alumnae functions.
