They "never got the information" or "cant find it" or "You're not registered" (even when you are). Every person who registers via our 1866 number should definitely follow up with BofE if they have not recieved their registration card. You really should do it if you are in the south. Participate in EARLY VOTING! It will save you time and hassel. If you are in a state like GA that doesnt require that you give a reason to vote absentee you should consider doing that.

I'm registering people here in Ohio. My county's B of E is typically sending out "new registration" confirmation material about 10 days to two weeks after their registration requests are received.
Since I'm hand-delivering all the new registrations that I take to the B of E office, there should not be any "process problems."
I, also would urge anybody with the option of early voting to do so. --- Then consider using Nov. 4 to help others (particularly, the elderly) get to the polls.
(in Ohio, early voting begins Oct. 1.)
