my brother served two times over there, as well as several cousins, classmates, and my bff's husband. I feel the same way. Many of my high school friends joined the service in '01/'02. I even have a college friend who graduated in '02 and immediately joined the Army because of what happened on 9/11 and is on his way to his 4th? 5th? tour to Iraq.
None of them feel that way at all.
I know it is all a matter of personal opinion, so if this guy feels that way cool, but there are plenty more that don't feel that way. Hmmmm where did that
thread about Army suicide rates go?
Personally, I don't agree with the "war" (technically isn't it only a "war" if it is declared by congress?). W sent troops over there b/c of some "weapons of mass destruction" which, by the way, were never found. To me it sounded like he used Saddam's actions on his people as a secondary reason to go there. But I digress.
But like I said before, it's all a matter of personal opinion.
