It's probably been asked before, but how many of you are actively involved with your GLO as an alum?
I'm involved.

Quote:
Are you involved in the local, regional or (inter)national level?
I hold a volunteer position administered by our Grand Chapter. The position itself is regional in nature but mostly I help my local chapter.

Quote:
What do you do, specifically?
Extend mostly unanswered offers for assistance, developed a Web site to help alumni in the region connect, and advise on assorted topics to my local chapter. I'm also working with local alumni on restarting a club.

Quote:
Why did you choose this area of involvement?
The official position was offered to me. Since I have neither the time nor the money to physically visit all the chapters in my region, I utilized my basic Web development skills to put together a networking site. That helped build my skills and it can serve as a nice launch pad for future endeavors.

Are you also a dues paying alumni member of your GLO? If so, does that mean you pay dues only to your local alumni chapter or you pay separate local and international alumni dues to be considered an active alumna? If you are not a dues paying alumni member, why not?
Not currently. Our local alumni are looking to participate in a basic program our nationals administers where we pay $25 annually - $5 goes to nationals and we keep the $20. Nationals administers the account.
