Sigma Women are made. This goes beyond and is deeper than any intake process. Sigmahood is an ongoing journey. I whole heartedly believe that the REAL pledging begins once one has entered the sisterhood.
I liken the concept of being made, to that of being a Christian. We are not born as Christians. It is something we learn and grow as a journey.
And though we often say , I was made or so and so brought me, i believe those are just the foundations of what and who we will become in the organization.
I mean, it doesn't matter how much I knew or what I loved about my illustrious organization prior to become a Soror. I didn't BECOME it until I actually learned and earned those rights...and continue to do and grow as a SIGMA WOMAN!
