Soror Happydaysf91,

Is one better than the other??

Personally I know some Greeks that fall into either category, so is there one you think is better than the other? Does one's personality make them "born" XYZ?

When I read this, I thought about someone being "born" XYZ is one that has a great love, respect and admiration for an organization, before they cross. They do not need to wear paraphernalia, or broadcast to the world that they are XYZ...you just know when you see them in the community, in their everyday lives...and then when you find out they are XYZ, that just adds to their charm.

Not knocking "process" people, but when I think about a person being "made" XYZ, they have become the model member after having inside knowledge (crossing), and that makes them love and admire their organization. They think about the selectivity of their organization, and that they made the cut, and that there are many people in this world, in their circle, that would like to have membership as well. So they need to think about why they joined consistently in order to understand their love for the organization, and remain active...

Of course, these ramblings are just thoughts about the issue, and I'm not judging which is good or bad. And we have to account for the gray are: people cannot be lumped together into a classification as subjective as this, and there may be times when we feel one way or the other...

What do you think about this Happydaysf91??
