Who would manage the center...easily solved question if you determine who had the best skill set to do so. Operate from the place of setting up a good old fashioned
business plan . Create an interview process and make the determination based on skills...minus affiliation. Contracts, Operations Manuals, all of that good stuff is sooooo important when you talk about setting up a business venture. I hope you all try to build the center again.
On a personal/business note for example, if the current composition of an NPHC chapter consist of 2 CPA.s..and neither is my Soror and my Soror wants to be the treasurer...SORRY Soror, my support goes behind one of the CPAs!

This church now has the first black owned meeting facility in the city and stands to make beacoup bucks.
While we recognize the differences in each BGLO we SHOULD also celebrate organizations other than our own because ultimately the work of each BGLO benefits our community. If XYZ has a barbecue plate sale - purchase a plate. If there is a Diamond and Pearls party - get your groove on!
On the flip side, there will always be a competitive spirit among BGLO. However, we must differentiate the time for the business of our community and the time to call upon competitive spirits.
