I don't know if this will help, but every year our freshman classes make a truck load by selling trash bags. I'm not sure what company they go through, but they always seem to bring in a lot of revenue.
Another idea that our freshman use is cleaning up the sports arena after games, concerts and other events. That gives them about a grand for only a few hours work.
Just some ideas. Hope maybe they come in handy.
