In response to the Burger King/McDonalds commit, numerous companies do joint efforts for finanical reasons. As I stated before, our organizations are a business. And sometimes it is in the best finianical interest to host events together.
Companies even merge for those reasons! (Example Firstar Bank just changed to US Bank a couple of weeks ago!) By no means am I saying our org should be, but in my opinion that's not a very good example! And I say that very nicely!
