They are gel capsules, not hard pills. I went to a "natural" pharmacy and they told me that with the hard pills, you often do not absorb all of the vitamins in them during digestion, that they pass through and are...uh.....eliminated.
I've noticed with these kind, my skin has improved in leaps and bounds.
