The attraction for me was what a lady she was. She had been married to a prominent man in town and was divorced. I was captivated by her manners, her mystique and what I would call that Sophia Loren or Gina Lollabrigida beauty that really does seem to improve with time.
Most important, she made me feel like an adult. She respected me and she treated me like a man.
I loved that about her, and still do to this day. It was very intimidating going out with her at first- but that quickly faded and we always had the most incredible times. In public or in private she made me feel like her equal, plus she had a certain vulnerability that I protected. I cannot describe how that made me feel.
