True. You can want a sorority all you want, but if they don't invite you back, there's nothing you can do.
I've encountered plenty of girls who really wanted to be in my chapter, but we just weren't interested in them.
That's why we try to tell girls not to make up their minds until recruitment starts because the process is so unpredictable. Girls get cut from their favorites all the time. This is especially true if you're at a school with a competitive recruitment.
